Part 2 of Andrea Dexter's
continuing Contact Training program has been a great success and we're happy to
announce that Part 3 is
scheduled for February 25 & 26, 2012. You don't want to miss out
on these great training sessions with Andrea!
REGISTRATION
Registration is now open!
Teams that
participated in the December workshop will have priority for working
sports for Part 3. The registration form is attached and the
format and the description of topics are described below. Please complete
and return to me via scan/email, regular mail or you can give it to me on
the field at our Salt Lake Training Site.
The format has changed slightly. The baby dog group will
continue with the two hour, 4 working team format, during the morning
session (8AM - 10AM) on both Saturday and Sunday. This will enable
Andrea to continue working on individual issues and foundation skills at
appropriate equipment height as well as the use of various training aides.
The remaining 12 working teams will be combined as one big group beginning
around 10:30 until 5 PM. There will be a thirty minute lunch break
at 12:30. The direction of the session will be determined based on
where everyone is at. Skill building, intensity and energy issues,
discrimination, lateral distance, course strategies, games and
competition-like setting and more will be covered. Expect contacts
to be at full height.
COST
Two-day working spot is $150 for HAHA members and $175 for
non-members.
The
two-day Auditors cost is $50 per person for HAHA Members and $75 for non
Members. The price is also
includes access to a secured link on Andrea's website described below.
Auditor spots are unlimited and all levels of handlers are
encouraged to
come out and experience Andrea's creativity and training methods in
person!

Andrea customized a special link on her website for our training program
where she has uploaded training tips, exercises and videos for
participants to use as a reference guide that will help folks continue to
progress with training between her visits. This invaluable tool will be
available to working teams and registered auditors. A new user ID and
password will be required to access the link and will be provided to
participants upon receipt of your registration.
