Where dogs and people come together to play!

Public Welcome!

updated 12-14-2024

Welcome 2025!  We hope you can join us for our first show of the year on Saturday, February 8 and Sunday the 9th!  We are always on the lookout for volunteers. If you love dogs, curious about agility or just like pitching in, we can use your help. All ages welcome. Contact Us. If you prefer to just sit back and watch the talent you are most welcome to join us as well.  We love a cheering and admiring crowd!

This is a chance to see some of the finest agility dogs and handler teams in Hawaii!  The competing dogs will run an obstacle course following the cues of their handler while being judged and timed. In the ring you will see our top dogs, at the Master’s Level, as well as our Intermediate and Novice dogs, those just entering the sport of agility.  This is a chance to see a person and dog play and work together, show off their athleticism, technical understanding of the obstacles and communication skills while maneuvering through a course. All this while racing the clock and having fun. The finish line is filled with smiles by dog and handler! A real feel good experience.

Our agility shows are open to the public, free of charge and are sure to entertain those who love dogs!  Fun, fun, fun!

Show Hours

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5 PM ~ Competition Begins with First Dog On The Line @ 9 AM ~ Outdoors, Grass Surface ~ Size of Ring 110' x 100'

HOW WE CAN ALL HAVE FUN ~ You're welcome on to the site/field. ~ Please close the gate behind you to help keep the dogs safe. ~ You may approach the ring and stand to view the events or sit if you'd like. ~ Dogs in crates should not be disturbed or approached without permission. ~ You may view crated dogs from a distance and if they begin barking please move on. ~ Do not touch a dog without the consent of the handler. ~ Handlers and their dogs getting ready to enter the ring are focused on how they will handle their run. We love our dogs and are proud of the work we've done together as a team and will glady talk to you after we have run. ~ We encourage you to ask questions about agility, dogs and AKC. ~ We'd like to discourage you from eating ring side or you might distract a dog and find him at your feet or in your lap! ~ If a dog should leave the ring and approach you avoid eye contact, do not touch the dog, speak to him or run away. You are not in any danger. We ask you to respond in this manner so as to help the dog refocus on his handler and lose interest in you. Our novice dogs are easily distracted and we appreciate your helping us teach our dogs how to behave while in the ring. ~ We want you to have as much fun watching agility as we do playing agility!

TWO LOCATIONS: We hold our dog shows at two different sites and the layout is completely different regarding parking, public access, local eateries, etc. Please note, for now all our shows are being held at the Enchanted Lake, Kailua site.

⭐ ENCHANTED LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 770 Keolu Drive, Kailua (a short drive from downtown Kailua)

THINGS TO KNOW ~ There are no canopies set up for the public's usage though there are some picnic benches on one side of the field. Not many tables and they rapidly fill up. Bring a chair or blanket so you are certain to have comfortable seating. ~ Public bathrooms are next to the field and local eateries are a short drive away. ~ There is a small playground for younger children's entertainment as well as a basketball court next to the field.

⭐ SALT LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL -- Currently we are not using this field 1131 Ala Lilikoi St., Honolulu

THINGS TO KNOW ~ Bring something to sit on as there are no bleachers, benches or picnic tables. ~ Shade can be found under the trees and there are a limited number of canopies for you to sit under. ~ The canopy by the ring entrance is reserved for the dogs getting ready to go into the ring. ~ There is a play area for younger children for entertainment. ~ Refreshments will not be sold at the site but may be brought with you or purchased nearby at local shopping center (5 min. drive). ~ We ask that you take your rubbish with you. ~ Bathrooms available at the Public Park (3 min. walk) at the end of the street.
