• Treat fellow handlers and their dogs with respect and courtesy.
• Please arrive earlier than your scheduled training time. Walk your dog and have them relieve themselves before class starts. Carry extra poop bags.
• All handlers are required to set up and take down equipment at every class session. There are jobs for everyone’s capabilities.
• Don’t let your dog mess on the training field or the equipment. Always be aware of where your dog is and what he is doing - even when you are just chatting with others.
• Respect fellow handlers’ spaces. Don’t set up your dog too close to other dogs, without mutual consent. When passing other dogs or crating areas, please give enough space so other dogs don’t feel threatened.
• Be ready to work before your turn so you don’t hold up others in your group. Training time on equipment is very valuable to everyone!
• Harsh treatment and words to your dog is frowned upon. We train positively!
• Agility is meant to be fun and stress relieving! Don’t overwork your dog.
• Be courteous with the instruction staff – they are all volunteers who spend many hours developing lesson plans and layouts for your enjoyment.
• Please notify your instructor as soon as possible, if you will not be attending class.
