2010 TOY DRIVE Toys were collected for the Hawaii Humane Society Christmas Toy Drive. Thank you everyone for your generosity. Shown here are Santa's Helpers, Brian and Wendy, presenting the bag of toys to Katharine Hong from the Hawaiian Humane Society. BAKE SALE Wendy held two bake sales and together we raised $623.00 for the National Canine Cancer Foundation. Baking help came from Ginger, Mel and Ingrid. Thank you bakers for so many goodies. Yum. Thank you Brian for playing Santa. Thanks also to all of you for generously purchasing the baked goods. An added surprise was a raffle for lovely brown T-shirts with the National Canine Cancer Foundation's logo.
Cancer affects 1 out of 3 dogs. Of those, half of them will die, even young dogs, 3 and 5 year olds are being affected with cancer. For more information go to http://www.wearethecure.org/

2009 Christmas Toy and Food Drive "By opening your hearts and generously giving, you have helped make many unfortunate animals lives a little happier today. Perhaps being abandoned, neglected, or possibly abused in their past, these homeless dogs hope for a better life. Thanks to your help, they will know that people really care about them. Amazing what we can accomplish together. We are so very blessed to have members who continuously give so much of themselves all the time. Altogether, HAHA members generously donated 10 cases ( 24 cans in each case) of dog food to the Oahu SPCA, and 4 bags of toys and treats to the Hawaiian Humane Society. We are so very grateful!"
