FAQ

What does Approval of Instructor mean?

If you are interested in a class that requires "approval of instructor"  you need to contact the instructor prior to registration in order to get their approval.
Have the instructor sign your registration form before registering.
download form here
If you are unable to make arrangements to meet with the instructor contact them so they may inform the registration committee stating you are approved.
Approval requests are made for the safety of the dog and to make certain you are in a class that your team is qualified to play in.

Why do I need to get to the field earlier then my scheduled class time?

You  need have enough time to potty your dog and set up your crate.  A walk around the field helps in getting the dog focused on his upcoming class.  This is also a good time to work on some focus training (sits, downs, call to side, circle work, pre rear cross drills, etc.)
At the scheduled class time you need to leave your dog in his crate and be at the equipment gate ready to help with the obstacles needed for your class. The amount of time it takes is dependent on you and the longer it takes the less time you and your dog will have to play.
