Gill Chapman has been actively involved in the sport of agility since 2006. She has competed on the national level in three different venues with multiple dogs and holds Champion titles in four different venues with multiple dogs. In addition Gill has a lot of experience running client dogs of many different breeds, shapes and sizes. She is an agility judge for American Kennel Club (AKC), Canine Performance Events (CPE), and Bahamian Kennel Club (BKC).
Gill strives to have the sport of agility “click” with all different types of handlers and dogs. She believes that her successes are tied to her student’s accomplishments and works to help them take their team “to the next level”.
Involved in competitive sports from a young age, Gill played soccer from the age of 6. In high school Gill was on the Varsity soccer, indoor and outdoor track teams. In
college she ran cross country, track, and played rugby. After college she played state level rugby for the Florida team. Her involvement in
organized sports has not only given her a natural athletic ability but an understanding of the mental fortitude that high level competition requires.
Gill currently holds over 100 personal agility champion titles including 3 Agility Grand Champion Titles (AGCH) on her Border Collies Toad and Squid and her Staffy Bull Beetle. She has also helped her students achieve over 300 champion titles to date.
