June 19 & 20~ Agility Show ~ Judge Mark Upshaw
I started agility in 1995, with my first Belgian Tervuren, Wautanka. I’ve been competing in agility for 25 years. I have/had seven dogs who earned at least an Excellent title. I’m currently competing with three dogs.
I became course builder for my club, South Coast Agility Team, and became a “professional course builder” in Southern California.
In 2014 I moved to Florida, after rekindling with my High School sweetheart. We moved together in 2016 to Bloomsburg, PA.
Agility is the only dog sport I participate in; however I don’t have dogs to do agility, agility is something I do with my dogs.
I’ve been an agility judge for 16 years. I really enjoy judging. It’s fun to watch the dogs as they run through the course. The joy in their eyes as their handler guides them through the course is what really makes judging fun.
